This may be kind of confusing but for an experienced computer programmer, it should be able to be done.
I have a proprietary Windows Software
I would like to convert/rewrite it to run on linux (wine does not work consistently with ubuntu for this software (works the first time but when I re log on it fails)) The software will need to be copy protected as well.
or I would like to set up the program to run on a remote Windows Machine/Server.
or I would like it to run in a browser (internet explorer or firefox)
I would like to have multiple clients be able to log in simultaneously and configure the software for their needs and save their configuration for future connections.
I would like to be able to charge the remote user for their log in session by day, by time, or allow them to buy an unlimited license.
Ideally, I would like the session to start by putting a USB flash drive in the remote computer (linux and or windows).
The remote session needs to be able to work with an XP mediacenter usb remote control.
