I'm looking to transfer all of the content of the following site: [url removed, login to view] to the OScommerce interface. There are only about 5-10 pages total on this site. I want the site to have a cleaner, more user-friendly appearance. Here are some example sites that I like for some ideas you can use – [url removed, login to view] (simple, professional, clean navigation), [url removed, login to view] (good graphics, drop down menus, product links), [url removed, login to view] (clean, simple, good graphics).
This project will include some format changes from the old site, but the wording (content) should stay the same, as should all the Alt-tags and Meta-tags already on the site. Better images for icons may be needed, and 2 or 3 of the pages with lists (for example [url removed, login to view] ) will need a list of links (anchor tags) by category (ex. all 50 states) at the top of the page, so that the user can jump down the page automatically to the correct spot in the content without having to scroll down the long pages. I would also like “cookie crumbs” formatted at the top of the pages, so the user can always tell where they are in navigating the site.
Most of what I need is already included in the OScommerce interface, but I want all the standard retail features, including - shopping cart, autoresponder, search capabilities, product tracking, product ratings, etc…
The most important thing to me is to make it a dynamic interface that I can add pages, products, and content to anytime I want. I want complete control over content after the project is finished, with the ability to add new content through the administrator area in OScommerce.
Price is important to me, but I will only accept a programmer that has a portfolio and good feedback. I would rather wait a few days longer, than get something that is done poorly. I am looking for someone whom I can turn to again and again, as I need additional projects in the future, like adding an exclusive members area, etc… Thanks for your time and good luck!
