I'm looking for someone who is familiar with Amazon's book database and can access it and integrate it into a textbook buyback website. The website is similar to to [url removed, login to view] or http://www.MarathonBooks.net.
It involves customers mailing their used books for purchase. Therefore, customers must be able type in ISBN numbers and get feedback as to whether or not I want their specific textbook and the amount I am willing to pay for it.
If you understand how to integrate an ISBN database into a website and have it designate certain criteria for specific books that I need (I want to base my buying criteria on sales rank and lowest 10 used prices on Amazon), please apply. I would also like to see samples of work similar to the type of site I'm requesting to have made.
My website is already running but would now like to convert it to the Amazon Api or use part of the Amazon APi to include sales rank and used prices for books as part of my criteria for buying back books.
the buyback criteria will be set by averaging the 10 lowest offers and then offering a % of that average to customer. Example. Book sells for between $15 returns a book buyback offer the customer of $1.50 since the % for that range is 10%. Ex. 2 - $30 book gives a buyback offer of $7.50 off a % of 25%.
