Web service to parse MIDI data and display as png

I am needing a web app that will parse a MIDI file, and display the contents using png images that represent the notes, and another set of png images to represent the durations.
Please have familiarity with MIDI and music. (Octaves, Notes, Quarter Note, Rests, Note On, Note Off, etc)
I will give more detailed specifications once I am confident you have a basic knowledge of music and MIDI, and the programming skills.
