This is for a client of ours so I would need a pretty definitive timeline and a price that doesn't change much :) The blogger functionality is not important - wordpress is - I need to let them know what we are going to do though so let me know in your bid.
Here are the details:
We require a php script that sits on one domain and will post to many different blogs (wordpress/blogger).
Flow is like this -
Admin can define wordpress blogs log in and password information. Be great if the admin could also pick a 'category' at this stage. I've seen this on software and scripts so I think it's possible.
Admin can define Blogger Blogs log in information.
Admin can define groups.
Admin can assign those blogs to groups.
Admin can navigate to a folder on his PC and upload text files to a particular group.
Script will parse those text files. Content between [TITLE] [/TITLE] will be stored in a database as the title of the post - the rest of the contents of the text files will be stored as the body of the post.
(Note - there might be 1000 text files in a folder - it should do this for all of them.)
Admin will assign frequency of posting - ie a chance of a posting to any particular blog every 5 minutes, every 10 minutes, etc..... This should be in this format:
How often to attempt to post to group X:
Percentage of chance a post will happen to any blog in X.
The script will then output the code for the cron job as they will need to enter it in the cpanel of the server.
So your basically dealing with:
Groups of blogs
Info needed to log in and make a post on the blogs in a group one at a time and on a random basis. This randomness can be achieved with percentages. Yes I realize that using values like this means sometimes there is no posts made on a particular blog - but we are minimizing footprints.
Information extracted from those text files.
Management and deletion of tables in the database when a content item is posted.
Additional functions needed:
Script should notify webmaster when there is no more data to post for a group.
Script should be easy to install and work on your average hosting platform - nothing fancy please.
Script needs to have an included [url removed, login to view] file, [url removed, login to view] file, and a [url removed, login to view] file so I can customize the look.
