Hello, I need an if statement to display a different button based on category & custom field. I'm not a developer but have tried to write description in if/elif/else format...so please ask any questions if my description is unclear! Thanks Carley CURRENT SITUATION: If url exists in custom field then display "button A" (links to url) TASK: Create an if statement so that; IF url in custom field exists AND IF post is in category X (or child of category X)" then display "button B" (links to url) & small line of text below button….ELSEIF url in custom field exists display "button A" (links to url)…ELSE display nothing! - The contractor will have access to a staging area to test their code. - No changes to core wordpress files permitted. - No changes to core plugin files. = Simple instructions must be provided for me to implement changes on live site.
