I have a mp3 player script with a php backend admin area.
Users can upload songs to an mp3 folder using a built in uploader and then the script writes the names and paths of the mp3s to a [url removed, login to view] file.
Also the script is able to split mp3s and create clips and these new clip locations are also written to the playlist.
Finally there is a button in the admin area that when pressed will scan the mp3 directory and write to the [url removed, login to view] the content of the mp3 folder. This is a backup method used if there are php upload limits with any server this script is installed on.
So the script writes to this playlist a few different ways.
What I'd like to do is make it so the script writes the playlist to the mysql database instead of a file because the way it is now if anyone types in the file path of the xml playlist then they can see all the file locations of the mp3s.
