Hi i am looking for someone who can build a messenger for us we will use that on our current website. all our current user will be able to use that messenger to chat each other. So we need almost functionality like other messenger have. user id . add other, user small profile. view other user profile. contact list. delete any friend or user. block someone. send file. receive file . online status . messenger setting. few other stuff if i am missing here. No need for sign up because we will use this along with our other website. When user will registered at our website he have this messenger tab and he can go to that messenger and he can update profile and change display name few other things. our other website is in php code igniter . we have some design but rest of design you have to create. First look into all functionality then bid do not bid if you do not have idea. i have explain you above what we need and messenger every one know what they mostly have in functionality. we do not need call function on this just chat. but we need end to end encryption to make sure data is save when moving. Hello, As I understood you have a website built with CodeIgniter and you'd like to add chat feature so that the registered users can communicate with each other. With a few other standard features. I can offer you to build this on NodeJS because the chat applications needs socket connection, along with REST API for user data, adding friends etc. Here's how I'll build it: - Front-end will be done in AngularJS, it will use NodeJS based REST API as a backend. - I'll take the session from CodeIgniter to generate the token to be used for both, API and Socket connection. - After starting a socket session, users will send the message and listen to incomming ones. - All the messages will be stored in rooms. - Rooms can have 2 or more people in it. - Messages in the room, along with room data will be stored in Redis. I perfectly understand your needs and I'm ready to take this project. I'll be able to deliver within next 2 weeks, unfortunately I don't have my full-time free to deliver it faster.
