I’m ready to launch a Research-Use-Only (RUO) e-commerce site for ~60 SKUs with COA's, and I need an experienced WordPress + WooCommerce developer who understands FDA language, high-risk payment flows, and strict data-security rules. The entire stack will live on a VPS I provide (Vultr or a comparable server you configure) and run behind Cloudflare for DNS, firewall, and performance. Project Overview Build a clean, modern, mobile-first RUO storefront, developed from scratch with strict attention to regulatory boundaries, payment processor tolerance, and long-term scalability. Core build expectations • WordPress + WooCommerce only – no hosted builders • Mobile-first theme, fully responsive, loading in <2 s on 4G • Explicit RUO notice / age gate before any catalog access • Secure Payment Gateway set-up: Coinbase Commerce for crypto plus NMI/PayKings for high-risk cards • Inventory management active from day one • Shipping API integration for real-time rates and label generation • Admin-editable pages and posts (Gutenberg OK) • Transactional email + SMS plus direct promotional messaging (no bulk newsletter tools) Compliance & security requirements • GDPR-ready privacy configuration with cookie consent banner • Full PCI-DSS compliance; site must pass the external scan you schedule • Always-on SSL (Let’s Encrypt or comparable) • Server-level hardening, Web Application Firewall rules on Cloudflare, and nightly backups stored off-site Deliverables 1.
