Conversion: we need to make a ER Model first from excel to Database then make a database and enter all the information from excel to mysql. if data is complex we may also need a separate program for conversion. Interface: I will use simple Windows form App wih dot net 4.5 and GUI will be as much simple as it can be. Hosting: I recommend you to use MYSQL because MYSQL is fast and also its server is secure. you can easily run MYSQL server on LAN without any problem also you can host it to any cloud based like Google. Integrations: regarding integration i want to say many things as i think your requirements are not much clear so i can talk with you and we can build a final requirement document. i can offer you my services for free for interviewing you and creating final Documentation. Hello You project not look like simple 250€ database. We have to divide realisation on steps, and make it one by one. I don't sure about your budjet, I need plan first. Plan of works: Database plan and realisation. I can propose Access (254 users) and MySQL(the number of users is big. Hi there. I have much database experience. Pending on how much the data is accessed and how much information is being stored will determine what database is used. A LAMP (Linux Apache MySql PHP/Python/Perl) server would perform very well and would be low maintenance as well. This would make it very easy to build a simple front end and put everything in a web browser for access by the users. I am very interested in working with you and truly appreciate your time.
