*Required: Experience with Real Estate CRMs (such as Agent Box)*
We create Wordpress websites for the real estate industry where they list properties for sale. We need the website to integrate with their CRM software to show the properties from the CRM.
The most popular CRM is Agent Box, which is a property listing and management software. The software lets agents enter new properties and remove old properties, and we then need to show their properties on their website.
We need someone to advise us on how to best integrate Wordpress with Agent Box and then work with our clients to integrate their websites with Agent Box (and other CRMs such as Move CRM). We design the website, you will just integrate the listing pages. We have multiple ongoing clients for you.
With Agent Box, integration is via XML-via-FTP.
The files will be in REAXML format which we can send you documentation for. XML files will be pushed via FTP to the clients website. Images will also need to be downloaded to the client's server.
The AgentBox XML-over-FTP protocol works by pushing listings through to a third party FTP server in an XML packet. These listings have a status associated with them that is pushed through with the XML data.
AgentBox does not delete any old XML files for listings that have been taken off the market - rather, listings that are taken off market are fed with a listing status of "withdrawn" when the status of the listing is changed to "Offline" in the CRM.
As some agents wish to display their leased or sold properties on a third party portal, listings that are marked as "sold" or "leased" in the CRM are not pushed through with the directive of taking these listings offline - if a client wishes to have a listing removed from a portal, they must explicitly set the status of these listings to "offline".
As such, if the client wishes to remove these listings from their site, they need to amend the status of these listings and re-feed the listing through to the portal they wish to remove it from.
AgentBox sends a new XML packet containing the listing information whenever a listing is saved in the CRM. However, some portals will only accept and publish the listings fed through if a change has been made, such as a modified description, new or removed photos, or the addition of a floor plan.
New and modified listings are pushed through by AgentBox approximately every 10-20 minutes, but once a listing has been fed to a third party portal, no further synchronisation takes place unless the property listing itself is modified.
