This is the current list what we needs to be done.

1.) XPO/Mulesoft needs to call Shopify API’s in one (or two calls) to give us the total order count (actual + cart quantity). Or Shopify calls our API. This total order count info, plus delivery address needs be passed to THE CLIENT or XPO APIs. Pls research the call to total order count.
2.) Based on this info the XPO system will return a four weeks or more of selectable calendar dates. THE AGENCY needs to build a calendar (or use a calendar app). Shopify confirmed we can code customize the Thank you page although we will need to upgrade to Plus.
3.) The submit on the Thank you page will pass the selected delivery date and answers to the three install questions to XPO or THE CLIENT APIs.
4.) We will need to cache the calendar in Shopify so that not every customer page keeps calling the calendar display. It should be cached for the same zip code and order count.
5.) If the customer waited too long to select the calendar date then there should be a new API call as the dates refresh every hour in XPO.
6.) Exception handling in case XPO or THE CLIENT'S APIs are down - we can provide you the customer messaging to display on the Thank you page.
7.) The thank you page is attached to the order on Shopify so the customer can return at anytime to select the date. Can they visit the thank you page and change the date multiple times - we aren’t sure yet what to you but for now we keep it allowable.
