Hi There, There is only one way to allow magento on SSL which is in its Settings > Configuration > General option. if your SSL came with Identification e.g name with Green Bar. then it should be showing everywhere where magento required SSL. Please note that, some of Magento links not require HTTPs. so showing HTTPs on every link is not possible in Magento because you can't live your css or JS on HTTPs that will showing slowness issue later. so best and recommended way is to user Magento builten SSL settings.
