We have a Mikrotik router which is setup as a hotspot (using a cloud service). We have TP-LINK Omada APs connected on it. Everything is OK except that we can not see the APs correctly on Omada controller dashboard. When we replace the mikrotik router with a cheap router without a firewall all is OK. When connecting back the router we see all APs as disconencted and we can not add any new access points on it (adopt). It is obvious that the problem is Mikrotik Firewall.
We need to someow have a script (because we will need to apply ths on more than one routers) so we will force Mikrotik router to allow specific MAC addresses to bypass completely the firewall an be able to communicate between them (ap with other access pint and aps with the omada controllers - basically not to be isolated)

Hi Employer, You just need to allow AP-Controller communication port in the Mikrotik Firewall and everything will work..if you want I can do it for you.
