Project Description: Development of a Store Management System We are looking for an experienced development team (no solo developers) to create a comprehensive software solution for a hardware store business. The software should include the following key features: 1. User and Permissions Management: Different roles (Admin, CEO, Manager, Employee, Freelancer) with specific permissions. Management of multiple locations with assigned employees. 2. Product and Inventory Management: Product management for each location. Barcode scanning for product registration. Inventory overview with low-stock warnings. Sales function with revenue statistics. 3. Equipment Rental: Management and booking of rental equipment per location. Automated rental process from booking to confirmation. Website Integration: Equipment rental should be available directly online. 4. Communication & Collaboration: Chat System: Employee communication including image and file uploads. To-Do Management: Task management with status updates and comment functionality. 5. Marketing & Email Management: Email marketing templates. Management and status overview of customer contacts. Duplicate checking for email addresses. 6. Plastic Card Generator: Integration of existing code to generate employee or customer cards. 7. POS System: Full POS system with integration for card terminals. Payment options: Card payments, Customer cards, Invoicing. Synchronization with the inventory system. 8. Customer Management: Storing and managing customer data. History of purchases, rental transactions, and payments. Marketing functions based on customer data. 9. Statistics & Reports: Detailed reports on sales, inventory, and employee activities. Export options. 10. Role-based Dashboards: Custom homepages with relevant information for each user role. 11. Responsive Design: Optimized for various screen sizes and mobile use. 12. Time Tracking: Time tracking for employees through clock-in and clock-out. Alternative methods: QR-code scan or plastic card check-in. Requirements: Technologies: Laravel (PHP) for backend, Vue.js or React (or blade) for frontend, MySQL/PostgreSQL for the database. Experience with POS system integrations and online booking systems. Experience with API development and third-party integrations (e.g., Stripe, PayPal, WebSockets). Team of at least 3-5 developers. Proven experience with similar projects (references required!). Timeline: The project should be completed within 2-4 months.
