I require some minor mods to the oscommerce client registration process as follows:-
Addition of a "Nickname" field
with a "Check" button next to the field stating ..."check if nickname is available"
When a customer enters their desired nickname and clicks the check button, the system will now check if that name is available.
If available it will advise accordingly if not it will promt them to try a different nickname.
This nickname is to be used in a second (separate) email message to a nominated email account in the subject line along with the phone number field and company field in the subject line.
Also an email message will be sent to the new member giving them normal oscommerce confirmation details and include the nickname, phone number and company name in the email.
Finally if the user at any stage changes their details in oscommerce a confirmation email is sent confirming the changed details both to the client and the nominated email address as above.
