Some custom work in wordpress theme... some of it is done already....

I hired someone in another freelance site, but its been exactly a month and its still not finished. Not much more needs to be finished. Its a WP theme called Alecta. I have my MAIN page customized. Attached is a pic. My main issue is this theme takes way too long to load. If it can load any faster that would be great. Also, needs a few custom fixes which I'll copy & paste my last email to my previous developer. NOTE: If this theme cant get any loading time faster..... Id like to just mimic the Main home page from Alecta (pic attached) and add it as my home page to another existing WP blog. My site is: [login to view URL] *Heres the last email I sent my last developer but never replied: -Use a temporary slider image for each hover button. I can replace the images myself. Also, slider and main page doesnt show up on my iphone correctly. Needs to be phone and tablet friendly. -Have the ART button point to a blog page and have all of my blog posts show up! [login to view URL] , Remove the header from the blog since it takes up too much room. -STORE button is to a null page for now. Can you please tell me where to edit the menus so when i have my store up I can add the link myself? and clean up all of the menus too. -Something is up with those logos... they need to have a more "secure url". I think this is causing issues in safari and IE. Can you please look into this? This may be lagging the load of the site as well? My husband tried it on his mac at work.... it takes several seconds to load a page and if he clicks on the back button, its a blank white page. you have to keep clicking back or refresh for the page to load again. The SHOP page loads the fastest and thats the page I dont need!" Id like to hire someone who is dedicated to this and not multiple projects at the same time. I have been waiting exactly a month now from my last developer and didnt finish.
