Update PHP Script for inventory file conversion

I have a PHP/Ajax script written to convert a .txt inventory file on 1 FTP server & send to another FTP server.
This works fine.
The edits I need are:
1 - Run cron every 2hrs instead of 1x a day
2 - pull new file to convert (on same server as original, just a different directory)
3 - Possibly convert to .csv instead of .txt
Everything is already coded & working, I just need these edits.
