Hello, I will want to talk about the specifics of gameplay, but my first concern is how to build this. 'Web based app' could mean a couple of things. It could be that you want an actual app that is available for download from the app stores that has an API. Or it could be an HTML app that's available through your browser, which is tailored to look good on mobile devices and operate like an app. If you would like to explore the latter option, please send me a message! To publish apps, you would have to have a developer account, which is something you would have to pay for. So I would cut out that step. Does the Golf Society have a website? I have seen some of the artboard works, and I think they look good and can really be made into a good web app. I am thinking of a Laravel based backend with VueJS on the frontend with user authentication, where everything will work on a single page like an SPA(Single Page Application) which will make it much faster and have a smoother experience. This Laravel app will then be deployed to a DigitalOcean server, which should not be too costly, around $20 a month will do for an app which will not have that much traffic as it is more of a custom app for you and your friends. I will provide you with full communication till the deployment of the project to the web and upload my code on GitLab so you can track progress of my work and also run some tests with live results.
