Woocommerce feature needs to be reworked (date picking)

The website is food delivery. There is a regular menu and daily special.

After selecting delivery date on the home page, I need:
*user to get on the usual shop page (like it is now)
*date to be stored as a variable
*1 product (daily special) to be hidden/change picture(1 of 15, 5 for each week, 3 weeks, rotating) depending on the day of the week. Pseudocoded explanation of what I want:
If (deliveryday == Monday, week1){

else if (deliveryday == Tuesday, week1)

I think this logic can be implemented easily using timestamps and modulus. Let me know in the cover letter if you have any more elegant ideas.
* the delivery date should be stored in mysql and sent in the receipt e-mail to customer (like it is now)
10$ tip: create customer groups that allows to set a minimal delivery amount (rather quantity than price)
If you are also experienced in mySQL, I’ll have another tiny project for you. If you know what you’re doing, I bet it will take no more than 15 minutes – it works correctly now, I just want to make the query a bit more elegant. An opportunity to up your rehire rate here :)
