I cannot quite explain all the details here without sharing a number of examples. Basically the app will allow the user to find information about the city, or any business in the city, it will contain an directory for each company which will include but not be limited to the address, phone numbers, open and close times, driving directions, services offered, specials, etc. There will also be a section for events in the city (events calendar), advertisement section, real estate section, restaurant section, things to do section, and others, it will be set up in a neat menu structure that I will describe and show samples, you have to be creative in doing this. The users can use the app, website to find businesses without creating a profile, but should be able to make a profile if they want or to access extra features.
Businesses who want to list info should be able to create a profile simply and easily to add their business. You will need to get the initial businesses into the app through web scraping. If you do not know about web scraping it is not a deal breaker. You would have to be a well established company that has been around for years and will be able to provide upgrades to the apps over time.
Your fees have to be reasonable and you should break down your fees for each the website, android app and ipone app. The information contained in all three should be the same and update automatically. The admin panel for me to add to the app, website, create pages, profiles, reset users, delete anything, change page layouts, colors (I should be able to change every aspect of the site and data with the admin panel) is very important). If you are only showing me page layouts and not that the program is actually working as you go along it is no good, I would also need to see the admin panel being developed at the same time and not at the end.
It does me no good for you to be sending me a bunch of layouts or apps where you click and nothing happens and tell me you will finish all features at the end. Some features should be working and some parts of admin panel should be there before the end or else I will cancel if you cannot show me that you are actually doing work and not just sending me a bunch of layouts that do nothing. I will provide a basic idea of the look and you can go from there. Please do not dare to attempt ignoring the budget. We can always agree on something if you feel differently but to completely ignore it when bidding will do us no good. My budget I set if for all 3 items.
Again, I would prefer only bidders that have been on freelancer for some time and have a minimum of 4 star rating with at least 10 ratings from customers.
