Portfolio Website

I am currently assembling basic quotation data on having a small personal project built. As a Flash designer, i do not as yet have the skills in HTML and CSS development to undertake this project myself, and am looking for a competent developer to estimate both cost and timings for a prospective build. PLEAE NOTE: this personal project is still very much in a speculative phase. I am currently collecting estimates on what such a build might cost me. The site will comprise six sections, detailed below. 1. Home section Primary Navigation comprising five links. An active link will appear recoloured once a user is present on that link's page. Primary Content Panel (900px x 350px) with 250px tinted overlay for text. Text will include a header and minimal body content and a link to an article page. Both image and text content need to be relatively simple to update, either through HTML or XML. A CMS is not necessary. Secondary Content Panels (293px x 152px) each of which will be separated into an image, headline text and body text. There will be three secondary content panels directly beneath the primary content panel. These will link to the portfolio areas. Both image and text content need to be relatively simple to update, either through HTML or XML. A CMS is not necessary. A copyright line will run across the baseline of this area. 2. Commissions section This area will display a gallery comprising one main image set left and twelve smaller thumbs set right. The main image will carry title text directly underneath to the left and boy text directly underneath to the right. Selecting a thumb will load a new main image to the left. Selecting a main image would possibly trigger a LightBox overlay containing a Close button and Title text. Navigating this gallery will involve using directional buttons placed over the first and last of the twelve thumbnails to load thumbnails of older or newer work. This gallery will need to be updated regularly, and so adding and removing image and text content does again need to be reasonable straightforward. I do not want to complicate the development process and so am open to suggestions on whether this should be developed using only HTML or possibly XML. 3. Personal section The personal gallery section will function in exactly the same manner as the Commissions gallery section. 4. About section The section containing profile information will comprise one body of text along with one image. 5. Contact section The contact area will contain one body of text with a mailto: link that should spring a new Mail Client window for users. No form will be necessary. An image file will be included within this section. 6. Article / Feature section section This area would comprise up to three images along with unlimited paragraph copy. The opportunity to include links to external sites would be useful but not essential. Image files and text content for each section within this build would be supplied as individual files by myself to ensure that i am involved in the project at all times. Images of each section can be provided to accompany the above explanatory text. Although this build may sound more complex based on what i have described in the preceding content, the visual layouts will demonstrate that the final build is more straightforward than it may sound at first.
