Freelance AI-Enabled UX/UI Designer — Enterprise Software MVP I am looking for an experienced UX/UI designer with strong enterprise software and AI-assisted design experience to assist with the design and documentation of a new business application. The project is currently at the product concept/prototype stage. A significant amount of work has already been undertaken, including screen concepts, dashboards, process flows and functional ideas. The objective is to take these concepts and develop them into a professional, consistent and development-ready UX/UI specification that can subsequently be handed to an AI-assisted full-stack developer using tools such as Claude Code or ChatGPT/Codex. The role You will work with me to: * Review existing screen concepts, screenshots, workflows and requirements. * Develop wireframes and high-fidelity UX/UI designs. * Establish a consistent enterprise application design system. * Design dashboards, data-entry screens, tables, forms, workflows and reports. * Consider user roles, permissions and different screen states. * Ensure every screen is practical from both a UX and software-development perspective. * Work collaboratively with AI tools to accelerate design and documentation where appropriate. Development-ready documentation A key requirement is that the output must go beyond attractive screen designs. For each screen, we need to document: * Purpose of the screen * Target users/roles * Navigation and workflow * Every field and data element * Field type and expected behaviour * Required/optional status * Editable/read-only status * Validation rules * Calculations where applicable * Filters and search behaviour * Buttons and interactions * Error, loading and empty states * Permission considerations * Reporting requirements * Data/API considerations where known * Acceptance criteria The intention is to create a screen-level UX/design contract that a developer can use alongside the visual design to build the application without having to guess what each field or interaction is supposed to do. AI-assisted development environment The eventual software will be developed using an AI-assisted development workflow, potentially using Claude Code, ChatGPT/Codex or similar tools. Therefore, experience working with AI-assisted software development is highly desirable. You don’t necessarily need to be a full-stack developer, but you should understand enough about modern web applications, APIs, databases and component-based development to create designs that can realistically be implemented. Reports and data-heavy UX Experience designing enterprise dashboards, management reporting, financial information, property/portfolio systems, ERP-related applications or other data-heavy business applications would be highly valuable. The project will involve presenting substantial amounts of structured business information, so good information architecture and usability are more important than purely visual design. Expected deliverables Depending on the project stage, deliverables may include: 1. UX wireframes 2. High-fidelity screen designs 3. Design system/component library 4. User flows/process flows 5. Screen-by-screen UX briefs 6. Field/component register 7. Report/dashboard specifications 8. Developer handover documentation 9. Figma files and associated design assets Important The application will ultimately be developed through a staged process involving a separate technical developer and system architect. The initial UX engagement is therefore focused on creating a clear, controlled and development-ready product design, rather than immediately building the production application. The successful freelancer should be comfortable working collaboratively, challenging assumptions where appropriate, and translating business requirements into highly usable enterprise software. Ideal candidate You would ideally have: * Strong UX/UI portfolio * Enterprise SaaS/application experience * Figma experience * Dashboard/reporting design experience * Strong information architecture skills * Experience designing complex forms and data-heavy applications * Understanding of APIs, databases and modern web applications * Experience with AI-assisted design/development workflows * Excellent documentation skills * Ability to work iteratively with a business/product owner I am particularly interested in someone who can operate at the intersection of business requirements, UX design and AI-assisted software development. This is intended to be an ongoing relationship rather than simply a one-off graphic design project, with the initial engagement likely to focus on one application/module as a proof of concept before expanding to additional systems.

Your MVP needs more than polished screens, it needs a dependable UX/design contract that an implementation team can build without guessing. I can help translate the existing concepts, workflows, dashboards, forms, tables, reports, roles, and permissions into a consistent enterprise design system with clear screen-level specifications. I’ll document field behavior, validation, calculations, states, filters, interactions, acceptance criteria, and known API/data considerations alongside wireframes and high-fidelity designs. My Software Development perspective, JavaScript familiarity, and SQL understanding will help keep information architecture and data-heavy workflows realistic for a component-based application. I can also structure the handoff for React.js Framework implementation and collaborate effectively within a Claude Code and GitHub workflow. The proof-of-concept module can establish reusable patterns for subsequent systems, while keeping documentation practical for both the product owner and technical developer. Which application module should we use for the proof of concept, and do you already have a preferred Figma-to-Claude Code handoff structure? I’d be pleased to bring clarity, usability, and implementation discipline to this ongoing engagement. Muhammad Awais

Hi, The key here is turning the existing concepts into a clear UX contract that a developer and an AI-assisted workflow can implement without guessing. I’d work through the screens, roles, workflows, and data-heavy interactions systematically, then define consistent components, states, validations, permissions, and acceptance criteria alongside the visual designs. For dashboards, tables, forms, reports, and complex business workflows, I’d prioritize information hierarchy and practical interaction patterns over visual decoration. I’d also document API/data considerations where known and keep the Figma structure and design system organized for straightforward developer handoff. I’d approach the initial module as a focused proof of concept, using it to establish the design language and documentation standards before expanding across the wider application. Best, Ivane

I would turn your existing dashboards, screen concepts and process flows into a Figma-led screen contract where Claude Code or Codex can implement each component without guessing field rules, permissions or state behaviour. Within 10 days, you will receive a proof-of-concept module: wireframes, high-fidelity responsive screens, a reusable enterprise component library, user flows, and screen-by-screen specifications covering fields, validation, calculations, filters, API/data notes, empty/loading/error states and acceptance criteria. I’ll begin with the role model and information architecture, then standardise tables, complex forms and reporting patterns before documenting each screen in implementation order. I built ClearAgent, a live multi-tenant customs-clearing SaaS, where structured workflows, permissions and data-entry accuracy were central to the product. Which application module should be used as the initial proof of concept—dashboard/reporting or an operational data-entry workflow? Muhammad Saad

The most important deliverable here is not simply polished Figma screens; it is removing ambiguity for the developer who builds them later. I would take the existing concepts and turn them into a consistent enterprise design system, complete user flows, high-fidelity screens and a screen-level implementation contract. Each screen can document roles, fields, validation, permissions, calculations, filters, interactions, loading/error/empty states, data dependencies and acceptance criteria alongside the visual design. My development background is useful here because I design forms, dashboards and workflows with component reuse, APIs, database structure and realistic implementation constraints in mind. I’m also comfortable using AI-assisted workflows to accelerate documentation and consistency without letting AI substitute for product decisions. I can start immediately after award with the existing concepts, workflows and screen inventory.

Hi, The core challenge isn't visual design—it's creating specifications precise enough that an AI-assisted developer can build each screen without ambiguity. Every field, state, validation rule, and permission needs documenting as a machine-readable contract alongside wireframes. I treat the design system and field register as equally important deliverables. I'd start with your existing concepts and build a shared Figma file organized by user role and workflow, then create a detailed field registry mapping each component to its behavior, validation, and API requirements. This keeps visual design and technical specification in sync, reducing clarification rounds and making Claude Code far more effective. I've worked on enterprise applications with data-heavy dashboards and complex forms—property management systems, portfolio tracking tools, financial reporting interfaces. Information architecture and interaction clarity matter more than visual polish when code will be generated from specs. The risk is that assumptions slip through and developers have to guess. I'd avoid that by building documentation incrementally as we design each screen, getting your sign-off on the field register before the next module. This catches conflicts early and gives developers a clear contract. The payoff: you can confidently hand this to your team or AI tools without constant back-and-forth, and you have a reusable foundation for future modules. I can start right away. Thanks, Felix.

The strongest way to approach this is to treat each screen as both a user experience and a build contract, so the Figma file, field logic, states, permissions, and acceptance criteria all tell the same story. The two priorities I’d focus on are maintainability and admin workflows. I’d first audit the existing concepts and flows, then establish a reusable enterprise design system for dashboards, tables, filters, forms, reports, modals, and status states. For each screen, I’d document purpose, roles, navigation, fields, validation, calculations, permissions, error/loading/empty states, reporting needs, API/data considerations, and acceptance criteria. That reduces developer guesswork and makes AI-assisted implementation through Claude Code or Codex much more reliable. I work as a full-stack developer and technical lead as well as handling product/UI work, so I design with implementation constraints in mind rather than producing screens that look good but are difficult to build. A relevant example is HustlerGuys CRM, where we worked across CRM workflows, role-based access, time tracking, invoicing, email, WhatsApp, automation, and operational dashboards. That kind of multi-role business software maps well to the structured, data-heavy UX you’re describing.

Hi, I like this project because the difficult part isn’t making enterprise screens look polished—it’s removing ambiguity so an AI-assisted developer can build them without guessing. I can turn your existing concepts into a consistent Figma system with role-aware flows, dashboards, tables, forms, validation, permissions, loading/error states, API considerations and screen-level acceptance criteria. I design with component-based React thinking, so the output stays practical for modern development and AI-assisted workflows. I’ve worked on data-heavy business interfaces where information architecture, complex forms and developer handoff mattered as much as visual design. A quick win is documenting one representative module end-to-end as the UX contract. Are your current screens already in Figma, or mainly screenshots/prototypes?
