Job Description:
When adding an item from a wishlist to an empty cart, I need a variable that can be set and tracked. This variable can be the wishlist_id
If the user added items from a wishlist and wants to add more products not from that specific wishlist a popup must appear saying "can’t add products not from wishlist (wishlistname), first complete order or clear cart". User may add other products from that specific wishlist but not from other wishlist or products in the catalog.
The user can now either complete his order or clear the cart.
When the cart is cleared or the order is completed the variable must now be unset to allow the user to add products as he please.
So I think it’s pretty easy.
1. If user adds item from wishlist, check if variable is set. If not, check if cart is empty.
if variable is not set and cart is empty then add products from wishlist and set variable.
if variable is not set but there are items in cart then popup message saying "can’t add products from any wishlist while cart is not empty, first complete order or clear cart"
if user now completes order then unset variable
if user now empties cart then unset variable
2. If user wants to add products either the normal way or from a wishlist check if variable is set
if variable is not set then continue normal way.
