I want to take a close, data-driven look at our existing workflow and turn it into something far leaner and more efficient. The heart of the assignment is traditional time-and-motion analysis blended with proven Lean and Industrial Engineering techniques, but the end goal is simple: measurable process improvement. You will begin by mapping the current state, collecting cycle-time data, observing bottlenecks, and pinpointing non-value-adding steps. From there, I need clear, practical recommendations—think revised layouts, sequence adjustments, or standard-work documents—that can be implemented without disrupting daily operations. Please tell me about projects where you have already delivered solid workflow gains. Tools such as value stream mapping, spaghetti diagrams, MTM/UAS or similar, and Kaizen methodologies are all welcome here; the more fluent you are with them, the faster we can move. Deliverables • Baseline time-and-motion report with annotated findings • Future-state workflow map highlighting waste reductions • Action plan with prioritized improvement steps and expected ROI metrics I’ll consider the job complete once the new workflow is documented, staff are trained on the changes, and early KPIs show the projected lift in efficiency.
