I need someone to assist me to create a script (java/php/etc) which would allow a user to add an icon of a specific website to their iphone/ipad home page if they click on a link or button.
Currently with iphone/ipad, you need to manually click on the "add to home page button", the select the icon and title then add it to the home page.
I'm aware auto-install icon to home page is not possible, so I would like to know if this is possible:
When a user click on a link/button on my website it will asked the user if they want to add the following "website" icon to the home page? If the the user click yes, then the script will add the icon with the automatic created icon and description.
however the link/button to "add the icon" should not be adding the website of the current page, but for the website of my choosing:
"Website-A" have a button/links that add a user if he want to add website1, website2, website 3, etc to their icon home page. Each button will represent each website icon to be added (button 1 --> website1, button 2 --> website 2, etc)
I would also like to have this feature workable for android phone as well.
PLEASE DO NOT BID, IF YOU HAVE NO WAY OF TESTING THIS OUT ON AN IPHONE. That is you don't have an iphone to test it out. You must be able to test out the script and send me examples.
Thanks and happy bidding. Serious programmer only please. If you are not sure, don't bid unless you know what I'm talking about and you know how to do this.
Ok, I just want to be clear on one thing. When the user click on the button, the script should automatically do the rest, that is install the icon with the description onto the user homepage without the user needing any further input.
I do not want something where a user click on the button, the it an overlay window pop up and tell the user to click on the "add to home screen button" at the bottom of the bottom of the browser and then the icon appears and descript appears and the user select a description/icon and then click add. I want the user to bypass this steps.
