We are in need of assistance with our domain & webmaster duties. I use Godaddy to manage various domains, websites sites and email accounts. I may switch to another provider if there's a need to. Please submit details about your experience with managing sites, hosting plans, email accounts, domains, registrars, including the length of time doing so. Also provide details regarding your current job, time zone, and indicate how many hours and when would you be available to work on this project.
Here's a partial list of the skills desired:
1) add new/deactivate/reset passwords/increase quota of email accounts
2) transfer a domain from one registrar to another,
3) create AccountExec accounts with my programmers,
4) monitor the sites and trouble email accounts, and do basic troubleshooting of email/website, report and escalate problems accordingly
5) create FTP accounts & upload content,
6) do basic administration of the hosting control panel,
7) troubleshoot basic email configuration problems
8) update the contact info the domain registration
9) monitor domain expiration dates & renew
10) optimize the usage of godaddy's and find ways to cut down on the hosting fees
11) work in tandem with my programmers to deploy websites
12) maintain an updated database of all domains, sites, email accounts, with usernames, password, and log all changes. this database will eventually become a secure HTML page
13) you will also need to prepare an update a weekly activity report/BLOG of all activity performed, so we can keep track of changes.
14) submit your hours/expenses/report to our project manager who will keep track and approve the work you done
15) we will pay you on a weekly basis.
I'll need to have your contact information, sign an NDA, and be able to communicate directly with you either via telephone, skype, and/or email. You must speak english and be available to discuss the work required. Depending on your time zone, we can work out a schedule of when to communicate. I expect an average turnaround time of of less than 24 hours for normal priority tasks, but for a high priority task, it must be less than 4 hours.
I need someone who can commit for the long run. It's OK if you are learning how to use godaddy along the way. Don't bid if these administration tasks seem boring to you because sooner or later you will drop out. Only bidders who have the energy and commitment to work on these tasks in a diligent, professional, and extremely organized manner should bid. I will pay you an hourly fee to be negotiated depending on my budget and the quality of your administrative work. Please on a 40-hour block.
