We live adjacent to an imminent residential construction project involving an adjoining property. Our house is over 180 years old and the new property requires excavation for foundations . We are very concerned that this work poses a substantial risk to our property We require a seasoned professional to help with project management and regulatory compliance, primarily focusing on ensuring compliance with best practices ,planning and risk management. Key Responsibilities: - Advise on and ensure adherence to all relevant building codes. - Identify, assess and propose strategies for managing potential risks. - Interface with the structural engineers acting for the main contractor/developer. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in property development consultancy, particularly in navigating building codes and managing construction projects. Skills in risk assessment and management as well as project coordination are crucial for this role. The scope of this project is to liaise with the contractor and engineering team acting for the developer to ensure construction risks are managed. The time commitment should be limited to an initial review and meeting with 3 - 4 meetings over the lifetime of the project.
