Okay, can I just say that.... This book was absolutely amazing! I can’t even put into words how incredible it was. It was so hard to put it down and get any actual sleep last night. Once I started reading, I just couldn’t stop. I’ve read so many books that kind of fit the grumpy sunshine trope, but this one truly honors that dynamic with the male lead, Dean. Somehow, though, Dean is not just grumpy; he’s also one of the sweetest, most caring, and attentive men you’ll ever read about. There’s just something so captivating about the contrast in his personality. The more you get to know him, the more it makes sense why he is the way he is. As his walls start to come down, especially with the female lead, Rowan, it's such a beautiful journey to experience. This book is a definite 5-star read, and I’d give it even more stars if I could. Honestly, I rushed off and bought a print copy the moment I finished because I NEED this as a book trophy. Total rereadability. I haven’t even read the first book in the series yet, but you don’t need to in order to enjoy this one. So do yourself a favor: when this book releases, grab it.
