Application edit page (Users clicks application name or edit icon)
- In addition to the application table update form that displays columns provided in above table, all application linked steps are displayed in a distinct panel grid below that form on the same page to leave user the choice of either updating application data or accessing selected application steps definition. Therefore, user can either update application form or select an application step to edit from there.
- A default application step record with action column set to ”HANGUP”, description column set to ”First application step to be executed” and name column set to ”BEGIN” must be created at application creation time. This step record cannot be deleted through GUI as an application must have at least one step associated to it. This record can be edited through GUI but its name column cannot be changed and must remain set to “BEGIN” at all time. User can create as many steps as needed in an application. User-created step names can change. User cannot create or update an application step name to BEGIN.
- In addition to the application_step table update form that displays columns provided in above table, all application_next_step linked records are displayed in a distinct panel grid below that form on the same page to leave user the choice of either updating application_step data or accessing selected application step routing table definition. Therefore, user can either update application step form or select an application step route to edit from there. 2 types of application steps edit pages. Please note that application step edit page must show the associated application step routing table. Each routing criterium can be edited as well in a form .
