I am having some errors installing a range of python packages on my mac, including xgboost. As a specific example of an error I am facing, I get "Command "python [login to view URL] egg_info" failed with error code 1 in /private/tmp/pip-install-051a_kek/xgboost/" when trying to install xgboost (or other packages) I've tried numerous solutions proposed online and cannot find anything that works. The task is to use teamviewer to install packages I require. I am using a mac. I am trying to run a Jupyter notebook.

Using teamviewer to install packages seems to me like you wanted to install packages on a remote device and execute manually. I think you need to speed up yourself by using conda envs for installation and also cut habit of jupyter notebook and start using proper IDE like VSCode or Pycharm for python coding.
