Have also finetuned llama and gemma models for Hinglish specifically (Synthetic data generation via Gemini Flash 2.0 along with some handcrafted additions). With llama turning out to be a superior option for hinglish. I believe that having deep ground mathematical groundings is more important than just knowing how to use and train an architecture.
