We are seeking a dynamic, personable, and experienced Technical Leader to drive our FinTech lending platform’s technology and focus on designing scalable systems that meet the unique needs of structured finance while collaborating closely with credit and development teams. Key Leadership Responsibilities:
Provide technical leadership to the development team, with a focus on structured finance use cases.
Collaborate with the credit team to deeply understand business requirements and translate them into technical designs.
Mentor and train the tech team on structured finance concepts and domain-specific knowledge.
Oversee development processes to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and compliance with financial standards.
Identify and resolve gaps in the tech team’s understanding of credit and structured finance.

Key Technical Responsibilities:
Lead the design and architecture of scalable, high-performance, and fault-tolerant systems for our credit platform, ensuring robustness and adaptability to structured finance needs.
Define and advise on the best technology stack, system architecture, and cloud-native design, focusing on microservices, containerized deployments (Kubernetes/Docker), event-driven systems (Kafka), and efficient data management (SQL, NoSQL).
Ensure scalability, maintainability, and security of all developed solutions, aligning with FinTech regulatory compliance (SOC 2, PCI DSS, GDPR) and structured finance best practices.
Promote software engineering excellence by implementing CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices,
API-first design, automated testing, and comprehensive documentation.
Collaborate closely with product and credit teams to ensure technical solutions are designed with customer feedback loops, risk assessment models, and structured finance principles in mind.
Guide front-end and back-end integration efforts while fostering engineering best practices, and ensuring seamless functionality.
Mentor developers on best practices for both structured finance and the web-based stack.
