I have an assignment involving the use of a Proximal Policy Optimization (PPO) agent to navigate a double gyre flow. The agent needs to start from a specific point and reach a target point by utilizing the flow's movement and directions. Key Requirements: - Implementation of a PPO agent in Python, leveraging the PyTorch and Stable Baselines3 libraries. - The agent's navigation strategy should be efficient and effective in harnessing the flow's dynamics. - Understanding of reinforcement learning principles and practical application in a fluid dynamics context. I'm providing an existing codebase and papers for the double gyre flow simulation and Deep RL. The successful freelancer will be able to modify this codebase and implement the PPO agent. Skills in Python programming, reinforcement learning, and fluid dynamics are crucial for this project. skills in fluid dynamic is less important though. Please ensure to have experience with the mentioned libraries, as well as with navigating and modifying complex codebases. It's just an assignment and double gyre is only a benchmark not a practical lab flow.
