I am seeking an experienced Python and Jinja2 developer to enhance the formatting and styling of our Python-based tool, which generates both HTML and PDF reports.
The main focus of this job is to improve the existing HTML and PDF reports by implementing better formatting and styling based on provided sample references.
Proficiency in Python, Jinja2, HTML, JS, and CSS is essential for successfully completing this task.
In addition, you will be responsible for understanding the functionality of the current tool and creating comprehensive documentation (wiki content for GitHub) covering its features, available options, and a HOWTO guide. This documentation task is relatively minor as the tool has a limited set of features and options.
Successful completion of this project may lead to future Python projects, and preference will be given to candidates who can showcase their previous work involving Jinja2 and Python-based PDF report generation. Alternatively, you may be asked to update the existing code to include a Table of Content entry in the PDF content, which is currently missing. This task should be straightforward if you are familiar with Jinja2, HTML, and PDF generation.
