Raspberry Pi/Python Relay Controller (RemoteGPIO)

I am a member of a target pistol shooting club in Australia. We have a turning target system that is operated by air, but activates with a simple relay. I need a script developed that will simple send "on" and "off" triggers from one Raspberry Pi, to a second Raspberry PI via remoteGPIO, and a UI to pick the match, start/continue sequences and show simple text instructions. Before each sequence there is a 7 second sequence, and after each sequence there needs to be a pause and a prompt for the user to continue: 3x 600 second sequence 2x 20 second sequence 2x 10 second sequence 4x 20 second sequence 4x 10 second sequence User needs to select the competition. Text is displayed to show the match instructions, and a button is displayed to "Start" the match. An example of the first 600 second sequence: User presses start. 7 second "on" trigger to relay, 600 second "off" trigger to relay, 7 second "on" trigger to relay, "off" trigger to relay and wait for user to continue next sequence. Second 600 sequence starts as above. I have raspberry Pi units with 7" capacitive touch screens. One will be the "command controller" and the other will be the "relay control unit". I'd like to use a remoteGPIO signal from the command controller to the relay controller. The 4 major components of this brief are: - Development of the python script itself, to allow custom timed sequences, and permit some sort of user confirmation to proceed between sequences. Details will be provided with the specific timings and sequences required for one match type. I will then duplicate the script and customise multiple scripts for each match type - Allow this script to run on Raspberry Pi's using remoteGPIO (or similar) so the user can have the "command controller" in hand and it communicates back with the "relay controller" - Create a Basic user interface. A simple static background, and buttons to select the match type. Once a match type is selected, some text will be displayed detailing the match instructions and a "start" button. When a given sequence finishes, text will be displayed to show text instructions for the next sequence, and a continue button will be displayed. - Ability to duplicate and customise the initial script for other matches. We have a large number of different matches with different timings and numbers of sequences. This brief is to create the user interface with one button, and one script. I need to be able to add more matches (additional scripts, one per match) and add more buttons to the the user interface. I hope this gives you enough detail to be able to consider working with me.
