The Role:
As our Looker Reporting Specialist, you’ll be the backbone of our reporting operations. You’ll ensure the accuracy, functionality, and scalability of our dashboards while collaborating with marketing, sales, and operations teams to align data insights with business goals. This role is perfect for someone who thrives on turning complex data into clear, actionable insights.
What You’ll Do:
• Optimize & Maintain: Enhance existing Looker dashboards to ensure data accuracy, scalability, and optimal functionality.
• Build & Innovate: Develop new, impactful Looker reports and dashboards that adapt to evolving business needs.
• SQL Expertise: Write and maintain custom SQL queries to extract, transform, and present data effectively.
• Troubleshoot & Resolve: Identify and fix data discrepancies, inaccuracies, and performance issues within reports.
• Integrate Data Sources: Ensure seamless integration from multiple platforms like Google Analytics 4, HubSpot, CRM systems, and SQL databases.
• Collaborate & Refine: Partner with marketing and leadership teams to refine KPIs and optimize reporting structures.
• Governance & Accuracy: Implement data governance practices to ensure consistent and reliable reporting.
What We’re Looking For:
• Expert-level experience with Google Looker (Looker Studio) and LookML.
• Strong SQL proficiency for querying and optimizing large datasets.
• Experience integrating data from platforms like Google Analytics 4, HubSpot, BigQuery, CRM systems, and paid media (Google Ads, Facebook Ads).
• Proficiency with Google Tag Manager (GTM) for event tracking and data collection.
• Familiarity with BigQuery and other cloud-based data warehousing solutions.
• Solid understanding of data modeling, ETL processes, and API integrations.
• Ability to create automated reports and alerts for key metrics.
• Experience managing Looker user permissions, caching, and performance tuning.
Preferred Skills:
• Experience with additional BI tools (Google Data Studio, Power BI, Tableau).
• Familiarity with Python or R for advanced data analysis.
• Knowledge of predictive analytics and machine learning models in a BI context.
• Background in marketing analytics, lead generation, or healthcare data reporting.
