We are looking to get the framework put in place on a Raspberry pi that includes reading data from a CANBus and then displaying this on a GUI. We have a Raspberry Pi Touchscreen and a MIKROE-68 (CAN to SPI) as the interfaces. The software needs to be modular so that we can add new CAN messages and GUI components as required. The Pi will also preferably be set up with a custom splash screen and show no Raspberry Pi artefacts on bootup. Deliverables -CANBus message read into Pi and convert data to GUI display/graph -Modular software design so messages and display can be easily added in future -Custom Pi splash screen with no Pi artefacts
