Hello, the most annoying fact about Typescript for me is absence of the real Reflection at runtime. I come from the backend background, and at the frontend I prefer more "Angular way" even in React - real DI services and configs instead of redux-like globals, and observables instead of default react pull flow. But I still wrap everything with the default react patterns, so the code remains usable for those who don't understand such stuff. And I don't use node for backend myself, cause I consider PHP much superior, but I can still work with already existing node backends if needed.

In JS, we don't have to define the type of variable but in TS, we must define the type of every variable. - Typescript annoys me sometimes because I have to define the type of every variable. I used to get too many syntax errors in the past, but once I get used to Typescript it will be better than JS because I won't be able to meet the error that occurs when you set te wrong type of a variable.
