I'm looking for a skilled web developer with experience in digital humanities projects to create a Google Sites repository for a college course.
Your Google Site must include the following:
Five separate link-able pages that are included on a menu: Home – Title and introductory page (20 pts) Here you will introduce your topic and include pictures, graphics, and/or relevant media.
Introduction and overview of your website and what will be presented here.
Historical/contextual Background (20 pts) Historical, political, religious, cultural, etc. connections and influences.
Summary overview of the history and the influence of history on. You will cover your topic.
Include graphics, photos, video, or other relevant media.
Main Subject of site (20pts) This section is for the meat of your topic - all details, definitions, examples, etc. will be presented in this section. This is where you provide all the important information about your topic
Reflection (20pts) Here you will write your personal reflection on the digital humanities and the role that they can play in education, the preservation and democratization of information, and the potential impact on our culture in general.
You will also reflect on the process of studying your topic and creating your website.
You also need to elaborate on what and how you learned by completing this project.
You will end with how this course and this project has affected your worldview in general, on the topic you chose, and its importance in its context, as well as its impact on today’s culture.
Works Cited (20 pts)A full MLA style works cited page here that includes all the sources you have referenced throughout your website. MLA style in-text citations for ALL outside source information and materials
Must have at least three sources
You must also consider and include:
Overview and explanations written by you - you need more than just videos and outside source materials
Pictures, graphics, and/or other relevant media
An organized and easy to read design, colors, and fonts
Your website must have all the components to receive full credit
