I am appealing to the board about the COLA that they approved for CSEA or union members. Here is the talking points;
1. COLA and FTES is a separate entity
2. Board acknowledgment for CSEA union members is not sincere by rejecting the 6%COLA instead approved the 4% increase for all CSEA.
3. All CSEA war ordered to come back to work on August 3 2021 from the Pandemic remote work schedule, while the other instructors and counselors are left working from home and others.
Human Touch- relate the Human touch with the board's decision to reject the 6% COLA and offer a much lower counter, leave a question that will overturn the board decision for COLA, and re-visit the importance of remote work to the staff and other members of classified professionals
