Commercial Building Draughtsman Needed

Job Summary We are seeking a skilled Draughtsman with experience in façade systems, including framing, cement board cladding, and EIFS (Exterior Insulation and Finish Systems). The candidate will be responsible for preparing detailed technical drawings, shop drawings, and coordination drawings to support project execution. Key Responsibilities Prepare detailed shop drawings for façade systems including: Metal framing systems Cement board cladding EIFS systems Interpret architectural and structural drawings and translate them into accurate fabrication and installation drawings Coordinate with architects, structural consultants, and site teams to resolve design and execution issues Produce GA drawings, section details, and connection details Ensure drawings comply with project specifications, local codes, and industry standards Revise drawings based on client/consultant comments and site conditions Assist in material take-offs and quantity estimation Maintain proper documentation and drawing records Required Skills & Qualifications Diploma or Degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or related field 3–7 years of experience in façade drafting (preferred) Strong knowledge of: Metal framing systems Cement board applications EIFS detailing Proficiency in: AutoCAD (mandatory) Knowledge of Revit or other BIM tools is an advantage Good understanding of construction methods and façade installation techniques Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications Strong attention to detail and accuracy Preferred Requirements Experience working on commercial/residential façade projects Familiarity with international façade standards and systems Ability to coordinate with multidisciplinary teams Key Competencies Problem-solving skills Time management and ability to meet deadlines Effective communication and teamwork Adaptability to project requirements
