Equities Trading & Risk Manager

I run an active equities portfolio and now need a dedicated Trade Operation Manager to take full charge of trading and risk management. Day to day, you will monitor market trends in real time, execute trades on major exchanges through my existing brokerage platforms, and track every position’s risk profile against predefined limits. Your remit also includes maintaining an accurate trade blotter, reconciling fills, and preparing concise daily P&L and risk reports so I can make decisions quickly. A strong grasp of equity market micro-structure, order types, and portfolio VaR calculations is essential, as is the discipline to follow my compliance guidelines around position sizing and stop-loss rules. Deliverables I will check against: • Timely execution confirmations with minimal slippage • End-of-day risk report highlighting exposure, VaR, and any breaches • Weekly summary outlining notable market moves, performance drivers, and proposed adjustments All work is performed through my existing accounts; no capital contribution is required from you. Proficiency with Excel or Google Sheets for reporting, plus familiarity with trading APIs or platforms such as Interactive Brokers TWS, is a plus.
