The scope is strictly operational—this is not a financial or regulatory compliance assignment—so your attention should be on how work actually flows, where bottlenecks hide, and whether current controls support efficiency, accuracy, and risk mitigation. Here’s what I expect: • A structured onsite assessment: interviews with process owners, walkthroughs of key workflows, sampling of transactions or activities, and observation of day-to-day practices. • A concise report that maps current processes, highlights control gaps and inefficiencies, and grades their overall effectiveness. • Action-oriented recommendations ranked by impact and effort, so management can quickly prioritize improvements. • A brief presentation (in person or virtual) to walk leadership through the findings and field questions.
