I've officially started development on my new Roblox stealth game, and I'm really excited to finally share what I've been working on. The idea came from wanting to make a game where players actually have to think instead of just running into every fight. I want each mission to feel like a puzzle. You'll have to watch guard patrols, learn enemy behavior, figure out the best route, and choose the right moment to make your move. If everything goes according to plan, you'll complete the mission without anyone even realizing you were there. One thing that's really important to me is making the movement and stealth feel satisfying. I don't want players to just crouch behind a wall and wait. I want them climbing over obstacles, hiding behind furniture, moving through vents, sneaking across beams above enemies, and performing smooth takedowns when the opportunity presents itself. Every level should encourage players to experiment instead of following one path. I've also started working on the first map, which takes place inside a manor. It has two floors, and each room is being designed around stealth instead of combat. The library, for example, is filled with bookshelves that block enemy vision and create different routes for sneaking around. I'm already planning ways to add more vertical gameplay so players can stay above enemies and use the environment to their advantage. On the development side, I recently found a scripter who's going to help build the core stealth systems, including enemy AI, detection, and takedown mechanics. The next thing I'm looking for is an animator who has experience with Blender and Roblox Studio. Since this game relies so much on movement, the animations need to feel smooth and responsive. Things like crouching, climbing, stealth movement, takedowns, enemy reactions, and parkour are all going to play a huge role in making the gameplay feel satisfying. There's still a long way to go, but I'm excited to finally get this project underway. I'll keep posting updates as more of the mechanics come together, and I'd love to hear any ideas or feedback as development continues. Hopefully, I can build something that stands out from the usual Roblox stealth games.
