Project Overview We are seeking highly skilled Robotics Simulation Engineers to help develop, optimize, and validate next-generation robotics simulation environments used for robot learning, control systems development, autonomous navigation, manipulation, and hardware validation. This opportunity is ideal for engineers with strong experience in robotics simulation, physics engines, robot modeling, controls, and software engineering who want to work on technically challenging projects that directly influence real-world robotic performance. You will design high-fidelity simulation environments, improve sim-to-real transfer accuracy, develop scalable simulation pipelines, and collaborate on robotics systems that enable intelligent robots to learn and operate effectively in complex environments. This is a fully remote contract opportunity with flexible working hours and premium compensation. Key Responsibilities • Design and implement accurate robot models using URDF, MJCF, and SDF formats • Develop and maintain simulation environments using: MuJoCo NVIDIA Isaac Sim Gazebo Isaac Gym (preferred) • Build scalable simulation pipelines for: Robot training Validation testing Motion planning Navigation Manipulation tasks Reinforcement learning workflows • Tune and optimize simulation parameters including: Friction Damping Inertia Contact dynamics Actuator behavior Collision models • Integrate robotics simulations with ROS2 ecosystems • Develop Python and/or C++ tooling for simulation infrastructure • Improve simulation fidelity and sim-to-real transfer performance • Profile and optimize simulation runtime performance • Implement sensor simulation systems including: Cameras LiDAR IMUs Force/Torque Sensors • Document simulation architecture, configurations, and validation methodologies Required Skills Robotics Simulation Strong experience with one or more of: • MuJoCo • NVIDIA Isaac Sim • Gazebo • Isaac Gym • Physics-based robotics simulation frameworks Programming Strong proficiency in: • Python • C++ Experience developing production-quality simulation tooling and robotics infrastructure.
