Romanian Nominee Director (Romanian citizen)

A new Romanian SRL is about to launch specialised accounting services for small-business clients. To comply with local residency and regulatory rules, the company must appoint a resident nominee director who can officially appear on the trade registry, sign annual filings, and support any ad-hoc compliance requests. Scope of engagement • Allow your name to be registered as administrator/director with the Romanian National Trade Register Office. • Sign incorporation documents, yearly financial statements, and other statutory filings prepared by our in-house accountants. • Be available—usually by email or courier—for occasional board resolutions or bank KYC confirmations. • Keep all corporate information confidential and refrain from operational interference; day-to-day management stays with the shareholders abroad. Expected commitment & timeline The workload is light: typically one initial signing session plus 2-3 brief document sets per year. Most signatures can be handled remotely via qualified e-signature or courier, but occasional presence in Bucharest for a notary meeting may be necessary. Fluency in Romanian and basic English is required to read/confirm documents. Familiarity with finance-sector compliance or previous nominee work is a plus but not mandatory.
