We are seeking a skilled mid-level Back-End Ruby on Rails Developer with 3+ years of related technical experience. The perfect candidate can help the development team in providing quality codes and meet the expectations of the clients. This is for a FULL-TIME permanent position which is required to render 40 hours per week. You are in charge of your own hours but preferred to work dayshift. We don't need fluent English, but you must be able to verbally discuss project details in English.
Responsibilities:
- As Back-end Developer, you will be responsible for server-side web application logic
- Integration of user-facing elements developed by a Front-End Developers
- Building and creating APIs and new features to the backend systems
- Creating reusable code and libraries for future use
- Develop functional and sustainable web application with clean codes
- Take ownership of specific systems, maintain them, and make recommendations.
- Participate in the entire application lifecycle, focusing on coding and debugging
- Team up with developers, designers, and system administrators to identify new features
Skills & Experience:
- Must have at least 2-3 years experience with Ruby on Rails
- With a good understanding of Database technologies, both SQL (Postgres) and NoSQL
- Previous experience with Git as version controlFamiliar with Agile software processes Good command with Continuous Integration/Deployment tools
- Experienced with major cloud providers like AWS, Google Cloud, Azure
