Wojo is a major player of the fast-growing flexible workplace market (coworking spaces, private offices & meeting rooms). The company was launched by Bouygues Immobilier in December 2014 under the Nextdoor brand. In 2017, Bouygues Immobilier and Accor formed a 50/50 joint-venture.
In addition to its 14 exclusive Wojo flagships (75,000 sqm of buildings – hosting 500+ companies; 6000+ members), it already offers an exclusive network of 350+ coworking spaces with French hotels and the possibility to open private offices and meeting rooms.
ABOUT THE PROJECT
In partnership with its co-shareholder Accor, Wojo is strongly accelerating the worldwide deployment of in-hotel solutions to meet new working usages:
- private offices, coworking spaces, meeting rooms,
- sold on an hourly, daily, monthly, and yearly basis
- through “pay-as-you-go” offers, monthly subscriptions or long-term contracts
It is in a context of a profound paradigm shift, both in tertiary real estate and in the hotel industry, that Wojo is launching this Workspitality® project.
The Goal is to become a market leader and achieving an ambitious business volume of activity in minimum 10 countries WW (incl. half in Europe).
The main stakes to achieve objectives are:
- Recruit and build teams in charge of launching & developing a totally new activity, for Accor and its hotels, mixing the best of two markets: hospitality & real estate.
- Deploy a new and ambitious customer acquisition strategy, mainly B2B oriented, on all types of companies from SMEs to large groups (PR, Events, SEA, SMA, SEO, Outbound...)
- Develop a digital customer journey with a dedicated digital platform to meet multiple uses in multiple markets
- Ensure sustainable growth of this activity, build relationships with client as well as hotel owners.
- Capitalize on Accor strengths and synergies (centrally & locally), especially on allocated FTE’s, working under Wojo supervision, responsible for deploying, driving and operating these new activities in the countries.
MAIN MISSION
As Business Development Manager, you are responsible of acquiring and manage client portfolio in your countries (Germany and Austria): prospection, negotiation, contracts setting up, account management with existing clients... In this role, you will be responsible for developing relationships with our clients, negotiating contracts and closing deals. You are playing a critical role in the success of the project in your zone. You will be under the supervision of your Country manager and the Wojo central team in Paris.
RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES:
Build relevant client portfolios
- Identify business opportunities with prospects and develop new accounts
- Identify and contact relevant C-Level decision makers (CEO, Real Estate Officers, HR Officers, Procurement Officers, General Services Officers…)
- Lead and succeed in high stakes negotiations
- Set up contracts between clients, hotels and WOJO teams
- Build and maintain successful relationships with prospects and existing clients
- Define account development Strategies
Demonstrate the value proposition of the office “as a service”
- Sale flexible workplaces in hotels to Large Accounts & Corporates: private offices, coworking spaces, meeting rooms…
- Set up customized offers for each client: combination between meeting rooms, coworking spaces & offices, locations…
- Contribute to the scaling of the Workspitality project through return on experience (clients & hotels), on business model, on profitability…
- Steer productivity and performance KPIs
Coordinate the project with other teams
- Negotiate specific offers with hotels depending on client needs
- Ensure & coordinate the onboarding of new clients in collaboration with support teams (WOJO and Accor) and hotels
- Develop cross-selling and up-selling logic in collaboration with sales, operationals and marketing teams at Accor & WOJO
