We are looking for someone to write a puppet script to automate the configuration of Windows 2008 R2. We have many 2008 R1 machines in production, but we thought we might as well move to R2 and automate it. The majority of what we need configuring is as follows:
Install Telnet Server feature, NFS, Terminal Services
Create user: testadmin1 password: changeme@*2
-admin role, RDP role, TelnetClient role.
Enable Network Level Authentication.
Create 100 users: M1, M2 … M100 with password :changeme*1
- users cannot change password, RDP role, TelnetClient role, no screensaver.
Create a file called [url removed, login to view] in My Documents content should be “testcontent”
Put [url removed, login to view] in to startup folder from puppet
Show file extensions for known file types
In IE, turn off the following security options in Advanced
Check for server certificate revocation
Check for publisher's certificate revocation
Check for signatures on downloaded programs
install [url removed, login to view];name=Macro%20Scheduler%20Std
with serial XXX (no internet access - file on puppetmaster)
Install .net 3.5, 7ZA, MYSQL drivers 5.5, open SSL
Put ssl file in C:\key\[url removed, login to view]
Run cmd: “mount -o mtype=hard timeout=anon [url removed, login to view]:/vol/openstore/ o:\”
install [url removed, login to view] from file on puppet
Install WIF: Windows6.0-KB974405-x86
Mount 2nd HDD as S:\
Turn Windows updates off.
Install [url removed, login to view] from puppet

You will need to work off of your own hardware due to our security requirements. This would take an absolute pro 4-10 hours. We are more than happy for you to other people recipes. The main reason we are outsourcing this is due to our lack on Windows knowledge. Most of our environment is Linux.
